I started shooting dance many years ago and one of my favorite company’s to shoot with it  the Chicago Repertory Ballet, I started shooting this company through Jacqueline Stewart, who I met while she was part of Thodos dance and who then moved onto to the Chicago Repertory Ballet. What I love most about shooting dance is watching the process of creating the performance. This spring the Chicago Repertory Ballet put on an amazing performance of MacBeth. One of the most interesting things about this performance was the integration of video projections done by John Pobojewski of Thirst design. It was a really amazing display with videos being projected all around the stage, it added a great element to the performance. John from Thirst and Chicago Repertory Ballet Founder and Choreographer Wade Schaff started planning the display back in November. It was as John says “ a true duet between dance and design.”
